I got pestered to make a Fundable account. I've been informed up down right and left that it's not leeching, it's not pride, it's not an EVIL THING. I still feel all icky nasty about it. The only thing that makes it any less EEEWW, is that I calculated in paying back farmleaf into the mix, because she's been beyond patient with me. And if this gets us caught up in August, then I can pay sunruner back, too.

You have ridiculous expenses on top of bills, 2 special needs children, a BIG lack of help from the gov't, and your own health issues. Let people help.

Allowing people to help is one of the hardest lessons I've ever had to learn. It's humbling as hell, and does inspire icky nasties. But the fact that this has been mentioned by multiple people means you are loved and that they WANT to help. It's humbling, but also flattering. You are the kind of person/family that we all feel good about helping. Allow it, despite the icky feeling. Because we want to, and that's ok, too.
