CYAN WORLDS, INC. ANNOUNCES THE RELEASE OF MYST FOR THE POCKET PC
Spokane, WA - January 21, 2005 - Cyan Worlds, Inc., the developer of the enormously popular Myst franchise, today announced that the original Myst adventure will be available for Windows Pocket PC in February 2005. Cyan Worlds teamed with Mean Hamster Software, a Spokane-based development team specializing in Pocket PC conversions, to reprogram and recreate all of the original high-resolution graphics, game play, sounds and music specifically for the Pocket PC platform.
"The proliferation of the Pocket PC and its ability now to handle expansive adventures such as Myst with ease ensures users can explore, discover and become entirely enveloped in Myst's worlds nearly anywhere" said Chris Brandkamp, VP at Cyan Worlds. "The idea of making Myst available in a portable form," Chris continues, "has been a dream for us and we're pleased to see it finally hit the streets."
Myst PPC takes up only 29 megabytes of Flash Card or internal memory, and will be available as a download from Cyan Worlds's website.

What's really funny is, a couple years ago Cyan's April Fools joke was a press release about Myst for PalmOS *chuckle*
