Liminality

I hate to tell you but yeah, if you're taking nearly any sort of psych med, your drinking days are over for the most part. This, of course, is a sweeping generalization but in my experience (Lamictal, BuSpar, Celexa, and Seroquel), if I drink nowadays, it isn't if I'll barf, its when. If only it was a single time barf but no, the drugs make it go on for hours. One good thing I can say for it is that this current med cocktail the doc has me on has cured my formerly incipient alcoholism. I was well on my way to being alcoholic when I broke down and ended up on all these meds.

I would ask your doctor before drinking right now, especially in light that you just got out of the hospital. Focus on resting and regaining your equilibrium.
