There are Featherheads loose in my bedroom. Which has got the cats seven different types of freaked out.
When I got up this morning, daddy Featherhead, Eshom, was on the bottom of the cage, not looking so good. He feels like skin and bones, which is weird, cause I see him eat and drink daily.
So I set him on the bed and pre-cracked some seeds for him. He scarfed them down like there was no tomorrow (which I'm hoping won't be accurate, but when birds look sick, it's usually too late...) So mommy Kitar started chirping like crazy, cause how come he gets let out, and not her?? so I propped the cage door open, and she promptly made a b-line for the miniblinds, where she started singing happily.
Which set off the Featherheads Junior in the office... what's mom so happy about, and they started squaking up a storm. So I brought their cage into the bedroom and propped open the door.
Yeesha and Widget are just beside themselves. OMGOMGWTFFOOOD! Following me around, swatting at my ankles, meowing at the door. No, kitties, you may not eat the chirpy birds.
